Mompreneur Monday

So excited to introduce a weekly new feature, "Mompreneur Monday", and I can't think of a better person to kick it off for us. Our very first Mompreneur is Marlena Morrison! Marlena runs 2 ventures I would love to highlight today. The fi...rst is Kindness Closet. Kindness Closet features high quality items for children and home at deep discounts. You can find Kindness Closet on ebay here: Kindness Closet on Ebay and make sure you jump over to her Facebook page and give her a like: Kindness Closet on Facebook  As we all try to live our frugal lifestyles, you will find many great items, particularly high quality children's clothing for those kids who seem to be in a new size every week! Finally, I know you will enjoy reading about Marlena's journey in frugal living and going from a 2 income household to a one income family. I have been so blessed to read how she followed God's call on her life and heeded his guidance. You can follow along on her journey and get some great frugal tips along the way by checking out her blog, "Living with Whine and Cheese". Read all about her here: Living with Whine and Cheese
Thank you, Marlena for agreeing to jump into the spotlight at Cha-Ching today! I loved having you.

Great deal on C9 apparel at Target

So I showed you my cheap t and purse from Tar-jay last week, but here is another good deal. School is right around the corner for us, so I will take advantage of this offer for new socks. Target.com has a $5.00 coupon on any C9 by Champion product. The 3 packs of socks are 5.99 so voila....99 cents for new socks! I ...also found the athletic polos on the clearance rack for 9.99 so I was able to get one for the hubs for 4.99. He loves to golf in them because they are lightweight. Report back on the deals you find with this coupon!

Crayola Give A Way!

My four year old is a creative little gal, and if I don't watch her closely, that will translate to marker or crayon over everything I own.  This is why I love the Crayola Markers that only draw on the "special paper".  If you love these products as much as me (or just want to try them out), head on over to a "A Few Shortcuts" and enter her drawing for a great gift pack of Crayola products.  You can enter here:

Super Idea for a Child's Medical Bracelet

I have two great friends whose children have to wear medical alert bracelets for allergies or because they are diabetic. I just love this project at Mommy Bling. The mommy mailed her the bracelet and then she beaded it. Such a great idea if your child needs to wear a medical alert bracelet.
